Ways To Volunteer
Community Kitchen
The Community Kitchen is supported by a generous and devoted group of volunteers. Lunch and dinner are provided daily for our shelter clients and neighbors in need.
Homes with Hope has reopened our building and we are now welcoming volunteers into the Community Kitchen to serve their prepared lunch or dinner. Contactless drop-off is still available for those who prefer that option.
Please read our updated Community Kitchen Guidelines. If you would like to join our volunteer team, please fill out our application by clicking on the red button below. Thank you.
Food Pantry
Homes with Hope receives ongoing donations of non-perishables for our Food Pantry. We also welcome perishable items including milk, cheese, butter, eggs and any personal hygiene or household items.
Occasional volunteer opportunities are available after large food drives. Volunteers help us maintain the Pantry by sorting donations, stocking shelves, and packing grocery bags of food that we distribute to those in need in our community.
ASAP Tutor
Volunteer at Home with Hope's After School Academic Program. Provide academic support and enrichment activities to develop the skills school-aged children need to be successful at school and in their personal lives. ASAP meets during the school year from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and volunteers commit to a regular schedule of one afternoon per week.
At this time ASAP has a full roster of volunteers. Please check back periodically for future opportunities.
Be a Mentor
Through weekly one-on-one meetings, help support one of our clients or other women or men who are struggling to create stable and self-sufficient lives.
Get a Group Together
Inspire those around you to get involved with Homes with Hope by organizing a group of friends from your congregation, your community, or your workplace. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
Food Drive or HYGIENE collection
Help us help those in need by organizing a food drive or hygiene collection to support our clients and neighbors in need.
